SEO Powersuite is a bit of a different product, but I like it a lot, it is a tool I use almost daily. It is not a cloud-based service, but a desktop application. Actually, it is a set of desktop applications. The suite contains 4 programs. Combined, they provide you with all that you need for your SEO campaigns. It depends whether you like to work with a desktop appilcation or not. If this suits you, you get a full-powered set of software for a one-off fee, without the need for recurring fees, and unlimited number of websites to track.
SEO Powersuite offers a free edition that allows you to try out most features. It has limitations as to how many URL's can be checked /investigated and it doesn't allow you to store the project information For this you need to buy the full version of either $299 (the one I use) or $699 (Enterprise edition). Also it is possible to buy the products separate from eachother. So, let's simply discuss the 4 different applications separately, they work fully independant of eachother:
Rank Tracker
The name Rank Tracker may be a bit confusing, one of it's functions is indeed tracking rankings in search engines over time, but it offers much more then that. But of course rank-tracking is one of the most obvious features. It can do so on request, but it also allows for scheduling of the tracking in the paid versions of the tool. You can also quickly compare your updates versus the previous or first time you ran the tool, or any other custom date:
Also, it is aimed at keyword research. It features keyword suggestions, competing sites, AdWords integration and more. Keyword suggestions can be created in numerous ways, with the possibility to emulate the keyword suggestion mechanisms from Google Adwords, Autocomplete and also Bing and Yahoo:
WebSite Auditor
The website auditor is the tool I use most. It is also more a tool that could be usefull in the free version, especially if it is a one-time SEO audit for one of your Joomla sites. It checks various ranking metrics, available in a global overview for all your pages, or specific to one paricular page. Like with the other applications, you can generate reports that you can email to clients from with the tool:
This tool has some really nice checks. Of course it does the obvious checks to check the maximum length for your metadata, but it also checks dead links (both internal and external), www or no-www duplication, presence and set-up of robots.txt and sitemap and much more. Also, they often add new checks. One check that I use all the time is the Mixed-content check for https pages that contain non-https-content, which is often a big problem for sites that started using SSL.
Next to the overall audit, they also have a screen where all your URLs are shown. It allows for various views with metadata, response codes, etcetera. All views can be customized:
SEO SpyGlass
SEO Spyglass is a tool that allows you to spy on your competitor's backlinks. But of course you can also check them for your own site. If you let it check your site, it starts with a global overview:
But similar to the other tools, you can drill down to a much more detailed level, as you can see here for the individual links:
An interesting view is also the Link Toxity check. It determines the possible 'Toxicity' of a link, meaning Google might treat it as a bad link or not. If you have too many toxic links, you know it's time to start working on that, otherwise Google might hit you with a Google Penguin penalty...

This tool can check out a lot of information, and look out for potential link-partners, based on either keywords or simply by checking out competing URLs. You can start looking for links using the following pre-defined options:
