How to request a refund

Hulu + Live TV plan only available on Apple TV Gen. 4, iPod Touch Gen. 6, 4K Apple TV, or iPhone/iPad running iOS12 or later. Download the Hulu app and start watching today. You’ll be charged as a recurring transaction through your iTunes account starting at the end of your free trial (unless you cancel during the free trial).

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  3. If you see the 'Report' or 'Report a Problem' button next to the item that you want to request a refund for, click it.
  4. Follow the instructions on the page to choose the reason why you want a refund and submit your request.

If you can't request a refund on reportaproblem.apple.com

If the charge is pending, you canʼt request a refund yet. After the charge goes through, try to request a refund again.

If you have an unpaid order, you need to pay for that order before you request a refund. You might need to update your payment information.

You can request a refund. You can also cancel the subscription.

If you or a family member bought an item by accident

If you or a family member bought an item by mistake, set up Screen Time to prevent unintentional purchases in the future. You can require a password for purchases, prevent some types of purchases, or disable purchasing completely. Set up Screen Time.

About canceling a subscription

  • Most subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel them.
  • If you cancel, you can keep using the subscription until the next billing date.
  • If you cancel during a trial period, you might lose access to content immediately.

If you signed up for a free or discounted trial subscription and you don't want to renew it, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

How to see or cancel subscriptions on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage. Don't see the subscription that you're looking for?
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription. (Or if you want to cancel Apple One but keep some subscriptions, tap Choose Individual Services.) If you don’t see Cancel, the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

See or cancel subscriptions on your Mac

  1. Open the App Store app.
  2. Click the sign-in button or your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  3. Click View Information at the top of the window. You might be asked to sign in.
  4. On the page that appears, scroll until you see Subscriptions, then click Manage.
  5. Click Edit next to the subscription that you want. Don't see the subscription that you're looking for?
  6. Click Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

See or cancel subscriptions on your Apple Watch

  1. On your Apple Watch, open the App Store.
  2. Scroll to Account and tap it.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap the subscription that you want. Don't see the subscription that you're looking for?
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

On Apple TV, you can edit subscriptions only for tvOS apps that are installed on that Apple TV. For Apple TV (3rd generation or earlier), use an iOS or iPadOS device or computer to manage your subscriptions.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Users & Accounts, then select your account.
  3. Select Subscriptions.
  4. Choose the subscription that you want to manage, then select Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

If you don't have an Apple device

To see or cancel your subscriptions, use iTunes on a Windows PC or follow the steps for your Android device or other device.

If you don't see the subscription that you're looking for

If you tried to see or cancel a subscription and you can't find the subscription that you're looking for, check the following things. Or contact Apple Support.

Is the subscription billed through another company?

On your bank statement, find the charge for the subscription. If it does not say iTunes, Apple, or something similar, the subscription might not be billed through Apple.

Did a family member sign up for the subscription?

A Family Sharing organizer can’t manage subscriptions for other family members. Ask your family members to change or cancel their subscriptions from their own devices or when they're signed in with their own Apple ID. You can also use Ask to Buy to control what kids buy.
